
Our chess players featured in the Lithuanian news! On Saturday, 26th April four of our chess players took part in a competition against seven other schools and junior chess clubs including one that had travelled all the way from Lithuania.
Our team of Abbie, Grisha, Lenix and Winky excelled themselves and, after six rounds of play, finished joint third out of eighteen, with an average of four wins each, a tremendous result! Abbie and Winky won gold and bronze medals respectively for their individual performances. The overall winners were our young friends from Lithuania
