    • PE and Sports Funding

    At Archbishop Cranmer CE Primary Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality PE, sport and physical activity opportunities for every pupil. We use our PE and Sport Premium funding to improve the quality of PE teaching, increase participation in physical activity, broaden sporting experiences and create sustainable improvements that benefit both current and future pupils.

    We are proud to have held the School Games Platinum Award since 2022. This national recognition reflects our commitment to ensuring every child has access to high-quality PE, competitive sport, physical activity and meaningful leadership opportunities.

    P. E and Sprt Premium Funding

    During 2025-26, PE and Sport Premium funding has supported staff professional development, specialist coaching, inclusive physical activity, swimming provision, sporting equipment, competitive opportunities and a wide range of extracurricular clubs. We are committed to ensuring that all pupils, including disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND, can participate fully in sport and physical activity.

    • 80% of Year 6 pupils can swim 25 metres
    • 80% of Year 6 pupils can use a range of strokes effectively
    • 100% of Year 6 pupils can perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations
    • Extensive programme of clubs, competitions and pupil leadership opportunities
