We learned that pitch means how high or low a note sounds. We explored pitch movement using the boomwhackers.

Happy World Music Day From Year 5We began by learning the notes Crotchet and Quaver and moved on to learning the beats Minim and Semibreve. We used our knowledge of musical notations to add and subtract fractions. We built on our prior learning and performed body percussion to classical music: Beethoven's 'German Dance
